Yes: Burn, trauma, may causes sloughing of the epithelial layer, exposing the connective tissue and may cause blister. However, these injuries should be resolved in 1 or 2 days. If they persist, the blister might be the end of a fistula tract, draining an abscess. Check with your dentist if the blister persists more than a week.
