Common in pregnancy: An increased discharge in pregnancy is common and is a hormonal effect. This is certainly possible in an ectopic pregnancy as well. If there is an abnormal discharge in a pregnant woman, though, it should be addressed with her ob/gyn as it also might represent a vaginal infection.
