What does it mean when you're arms and face tingle due to tooth pain?

Time to see Dentist: Any dental pain severe enough to make your arms and face tingle should be addressed to verify that these symptoms are from a dental problem and not a medical problem. You may need to see your physician too or go to a hospital emergency room for evaluation.

Too long: It means you've waited too long to have the problem diagnosed and treated. Could be sign of spreading infection. Could be allergic response to a medication you're taking to try to mask the symptoms. Whatever the reason, you can't fix this yourself and it may be dangerous. Please seek help now.

Referred pain: It is not uncommon to have tooth pain radiate to the head, neck, shoulder, even arms. You know it is tooth related if all these symptoms disappeared after proper dental treatment.
