A few things: It could be due to the swelling from the surgery or from laying in a position that caused the numbness. Usually this will resolve on its own. Contact your doctor for recommendations.

ER: The numbness in your mouth is either some residual local anesthesia or inflammation to the nerve from the injections or removal of the teeth. That numbness is usually temporary.
