Not likely: If you did have abscess it would have become apparent and hopefully drained by now. If your tingling has persisted for more than 2 weeks without any other symptoms then it indicates irritation of a branch of trigeminal nerve ( sensory nerve of face). You may want to wait for another few weeks before seeking neurological help.
