Neck throbbing: This is not a symptom of a thyroid problem. I'm not sure what it is as I have no other information. Feel better.

Unlikely: Most thyroid problems do not cause pain unless there is some type of inflammation also have checked out by doctor to see if painful area is in the thyroid or involves another gland or lymph node or a problem with the vein or arteries in the neck.
