A member asked:

I have hypopituitarism so should i take extra prednisone before a dental appointment?

No...no: I assume you are taking Prednisone and thyroid medicines, possibly others, on a regular basis because of your hypopituitarism, but these need not change for routine dental work. With more major surgery/illness, stress dose of Prednisone maybe needed, but otherwise no. Best is to consult your doc... Good luck.
