Dental cleaning: I am on day 3 of 5 day course of high dose prednisone, to be followed by 5 day course of tapering off prednisone. Can I have my dental cleaning today? ANS: Tell your dental assistant why you are taking it and see what dentist says. Should be no problem but base only on the information you give cannot help more. I am always available for 2nd opinion live.
