How long does it take for a photosensitive rash to go away?

1-2 weeks: It usually takes 1-2 days for a polymorphous light eruption to show up and it resolves in 1-2 weeks. If it is solar urticaria then it shows up in about 30 minutes and returns to normal in about 12-24 hours.
