Numb or "tingling"?: Whole tongue involed or the left half, right half, tip? Does it resolve during the day? Is there also pain with the numbness? Have you ever pierced your tongue? Injury? Is it swollen? .....There are too many questions here to give you any good and helpful answer. You should have an exam with an oral surgeon or an oral pathologist to help get to the bottom of this issue.
