A member asked:

Liver shows mild diffuse hepatosteatosis what is this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Fat infiltration: Steatosis is fatty infiltration of the liver and is becoming increasingly more well recognized in the us. When the fat cells irritate the liver, it can cause inflammation of the liver substance (hepatitis) that can cause scarring and have consequences as we age. I would suggest dietary modification.
