See answer: Fatty liver or hepatic steatosis is not uncommon, and occurs often in people who may be overweight. It can be reversed by losing weight and watching your diet with decreased fats. Rarely will this turn into cirrhosis, but you certainly do not want to drink alcohol all the time and/or take medications that go through the liver (like tylenol) often. Have lft's monitored with a dr. Best wishes.
