Not needed: A cataract is an opacity of the substance of the natural lens. Surgical correction is done by removal of this material. A cataract of this sort cannot recur although the supporting back membrane holding the artificial lens can lose transparency requiring a quick laser procedure to open it up and restore vision. Rarely a lens may need changing or stabilizing but this is corrective and not a redo.

NO!: Once the cataract (clouding of the natural lens) is removed it is gone and does not recur. Therefore the surgery can not be redone. If there is a problem with centering, power, or the new artificial lens, additional surgery may be indicated (or possibly glasses, contacts, laser surgery). The cataract surgery can not be redone, but additional surgeries or optical devices may be needed.
