Does an adominal pelvic ct show lungs?

A bit: The ct will include the lung bases because it is necessary to do so to cover the top of the liver and spleen. However, not much of the lower lobes is covered.

See answer: Portions of the lower lungs / the lung bases may be incidentally included in the upper portions of an abdominal / pelvic ct scan, but its purpose is not to comprehensively evaluate the lungs. A chest ct scan would be indicated for that purpose.
