A member asked:

How does gum tear repair its self and how long?

A doctor has provided 1 answer
Dr. Dinh Bui answered

14 to 28 days: Given no infection, gum reattached in 14 days, with epithelial crosslinks (for toughness) in 28 days, after which it would be strong enough to withstand normal occlusal function and trauma.
