Sleep movements: Sleep is not static, it is dynamic, sleep is an active process, movements in sleep are normal, actually straining a muscle can certainly happen, if it is occurring frequently then you may need to see a sleep specialist to see if you have an issue called a parasomnia - something that occurs next to sleep.
