Need to repeat: If you had your period when urinalysis was done, it could have contaminated the urine sample and you should repeat the test. If this not the case, the urinalysis should still be repeated. If the blood and protein is persistent and more than trace, you should see a nephrologist who can microscopically analyze blood to see if source is kidney. If so, you should be evaluated for glomerulonephritis.
