No: Metronidazole (flagyl) has antibacterial and antiparasitic properties, but is not used in fungal infections athlete's foot is a fungal infection of the skin of the foot. See a podiatrist for care if over-the -counter treatments do not help. Better medicine exists for athlete's foot.
