Recurrent BV: This is a pretty common problem, very frustrating to affected women (and often for their doctors). Make extra sure there's not an underlying problem, like a foreign body in the vagina (e.g. forgotten tampon). Vaginal boric acid capsules work for some women. Ask for consultation with a gyn who subspecializes in infectious diseases (available in many urban areas and/or academic medical centers).
