?Oily?: Not sure what oily urine is. Possibly your "fluid" diet may have a relationship to the consistency of your urine. If it persists, have your urine evaluated. Good luck.

Many things: We check your urine for a couple of reasons. First, infection. Uti's can be silent in pregnancy. Second, we check the glucose. If it is really high you may be at risk for diabetes.

No: Cryptosporidium is spread by the fecal-oral route. Most commonly by ingestion contaminated water. Will cause relatively mior GI upset in normal healthy people. Recovery is rapid and complete. It can be dangerous, even fatal in immunocompromised people such as people who are HIV positive. Not transmitted by by urine.

I have noticed black, oily droplets in my urine. What could be the cause? Should I go see a doctor? I

Yes see a doctor: The oily droplets could be sludge from kidney stones, or old blood from your bladder. I suggest having a urinalysis to see what this is.

Not Sure!: Urine is filtered through kidney and it is composed of water and solutes (combination of different materials that are waste and excess of body need). Please check that there are no creams or ointment applied to the genital area when taking the urine sample and if it is still there, you might need to take a sample to the doctor for testing.
