Heart dz, skin ca: Patients with psoriasis have a higher risk of developing skin cancers and cardiovascular disease. For this reason, it is recommended that those with psoriasis get general skin checks at least once yearly, and establish care with a primary care doctor to monitor cholesterol and be educated on heart disease prevention.

Arthritis, cardiac: People with psoriasis can get 5 types of arthritis but just because you have psoriasis does not mean you will get any of these types of arthritis. Also you have a risk of heart disease and you and your doctor need to evaluate your risk for cardiovascular disease, .
