Several strucures: Off the top of my head some include...The diaphragm, part of the the small intestine, some areas of the heart and pericardium may be sub sternal in some patients, the lungs, some lymph nodes, part of the descending abdominal aorta, the tail of the pancreas may extend to that area in some patients.
