Please call your OB: Now, your OB will want to know this as you could have rupture of membranes and in that case if you do not get contractions you will need some pitocin, (oxytocin) if u were my pt. I would send you straright to the labor room immediately to find out and none of my pts ever want to go past 40 weeks, a recent large study said the ideal time for the baby to be born is 39-40 weeks so please call your OB now!
