Is there any concern for a slightly elevated tsh but normal t4?

Subclinical hypothyr: Subclinical hypothyroidism (high tsh, normal t4) may represent early stage hypothyroidism and can turn into overt hypothyroidism in a few years. Depending on your symptoms, the physician's pretest probability for suspecting thyroid disease, and persistent TSH elevations, he may try you on low dose thyroxine to see if it helps you feel better.

Yes,: It's called subclinical hypothyroidism. Many doctors would wait to see if it worsens, others would begin treatment now. Check w/your doctor to see their recommendation.
