The Parachute : Partitioning device it's an experimental less invasive device for the treatment of left ventricular failure complicated with an aneurysm. Morton plant mease hospital in tampa, fl is one of the 15 us sites doing clinical trials to make sure it's safe and benefits the patient. As of august 2013 there were only 250 patients at the trials. Don't know your specifics and how was recommended to you.
