Heart palpitations: It is possible that the thyroid medication is causing heart palpitations. Check with your md to be sure that the thyroid dosage is putting your blood test (TSH) in the therapeutic range.

Pinched nerve? : I would wonder about a pinched nerve from your back causing this, other possibilities would be a skin condition, anxiety, or hyperventilation. You should get this checked out by a doctor. Good luck!
