What's the difference between metronidazole and tinidazole 500 mg pills?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Imidazoles: These are two different drugs in the same class of antibiotics/antiparasitics. As such the dosage schedules may differ, but they are generally used against the same types of infections. Tinidazole is considered a second generation drug in this class.
