Interesting: The character of the pain sounds neurologic and should be examined by the doctors treating your serious neck condition. Spinal stenosis can affect both neck and back in those who have the condition early in life. Trauma to the knee can give local symptoms because it is a bony joint with a superficial nerve that is vulnerable to bumps. It is safe to "watch it" if you stay active.
