Hemoglobin A1C: A hemoglobin a1c level of 10.8 is a disaster. It means that your diabetes is well out of any semblence of control. It means that you need urgent education on diabetes and how to manage your sugars and to be on the appropriate medication to treat this very dangerous level of blood sugars.
