Questionable assoc: Anal pain is most likely caused by hemorrhoids, fissures, abscesses, proctalgia fugax, or levator ani syndrome. If his new vitamin product is causing constipation, this could flare up any of the foregoing. The vitamin preparation could be causing inflammation in his anal area - proctitis. Generally speaking, vitamin preparations are not the cause of anal pain. Please see your physician.
