Adenomyosis: Sometimes a globular uterus means that you have a condition known as adenomyosis. This is a condition where the cells that normally line the uterus migrate into the muscle layers of the uterus, causing the uterus to appear 'globular' on ultrasound. It also goes along with heavy bleeding/periods. Best to treat this is birth control pills or other hormonal management. See your doc for discussion.
