C.T.S.: Wrist pain and finger numbness in a fortyish male during sleep process suggests carpal tunnel syndrome (C.T.S.) median nerve impingement; aroused by wrist flexion during sleep. Wearing a cock-up wrist splint might alleviate symptoms and thereby support this diagnosis. A doctor can order electrodiagnostic studies to confirm. B-vitamins are reputed to be helpful, but this is likely anecdotal.
