Ask the prescriber: Like all antibiotics, complete the course of treatment prescribed by your doctor in order to prevent the development of antibiotic resistant bacteria, or "superbugs." since tobramycin comes in different forms and is prescribed for various indications, you must contact the doctor who prescribed it.

Ophthalmic?: Tobramycin comes in injectable forms for intramuscular and intravenous usage. It is also available in an ophthalmic preparation for ocular infections. I presume you are asking about the eye medication formulation. Typically it is used one drop to affected eye(s) 4 times/day for 7 to 10 days then stopped.
