7.5 to 17.5 hours: The half life (time to elimination of half the drug) of tobramycin ranges from 1.5 to 3.5 hours in persons with normal kidney function. Total drug elimination is considered to have occurred after 5 half lives or 7.5 to 17.5 hours after the last dose.
