May be: Sensitive teeth should be only for a short period of time. Prolonged sensitivity may represent the more serious problem such as cavities, localized gingival recession, and/or external root resorption. Consult with your dentist.

Probably: Teeth will get sensitive when they are being moved because of the pressure placed on them. Pressure and sensitivity may also depend on the type of braces you are wearing. Call your dentist to discuss the problem. Medication may be helpful in extreme cases.
