Should i stick with my meds longer and continue with these actual borderline-depressive outbursts, in the hope that it'll even out soon?

Talk to your doctor: Let the psychiatrist know how you are feeling. They can determine whether you should increase or change your medication. Often medications need to be adjusted.

Borderline outbursts: Medications -- especially ssri's -- may help this problem some. You don't mention the specific medications you mean, though. Other methods which can help with borderline pd-related outbursts include dialectical behavioral therapy. With this, you can learn tools and processes for handling painful emotions. Usually dbt is done while you're also in long-term psychotherapy. They work well together.
