Get Help!: Don't do it alone! find a mental health provider who will help you get through the difficulties and help you learn new coping skills: self-care routine, meditation, relaxation, setting up achievable goals. Consider medication, if there's a need. If symptoms become overwhelming and you're having thoughts of self-harm, call 911 or go to the nearest er. Suicide hotline: 1-800-273-8255. Good luck!

Agree w Dr. Fox.: Depression is treatable. Don't give up hope. F you are having thoughts about killing yourself, get seen at the nearest emergency room now. Have a friend or relative drive you or call 911 for emergency services for transport. When a person is depressed they often feel despair ; come to believe that things can't get better. But there is hope. Allow others to provide you w support ; to help you.
