Friction: Is the cause and the shape of the toe. Most are hammertoes and can be corrected. The bone under the corn causes the corn and as bone gets larger so does corn. You can pad the area, trim the corns or remove them by surgery.

Corns on toes: You probably have contracted deformities on your toes and the top of the joint are rubbing against the top of the shoescausing the corns. You might be wearing improper she's.. See a podiatrist.
