Hypothyroid: If you have symptoms suggestive of hypothyroidism, with your family history, you should be tested, treatment with thyroid medicine is safe during pregnancy, if required.

Yes and yes.: Hypothyroidism can interfere with getting pregnant. The treatment is with the same hormone that hypothyroid people don't make enough of, and simply brings them back to where they should have been in the first place.
