See below: You see your doctor in light of your worsening symptoms---your kidney stone may be obstructed and require immediate attention. The joint swelling could be from gout which can be associated with kidney stones.

Could be different: Although, a kidney stone could be causing it, but generalized kidney condition needs to be checked, urinalysis, blood work - to assure their proper function.
