Dose of levo: You should speak to the physician (p) who prescribed your levo (l). You TSH is still quite elevated and it is possible that you need more l to get it down into the normal range. Once that occurs your cycles may revert to norma. If you TSH is normal and your cycles are not back to normal, you may need to see a gyn for an evaluation. Speak to p first and good luck.

Increase levothyrox: Perhaps an easy target to remember is a TSH of 1 to 2 (although studies suggest an even wider acceptable range). The risk of preterm delivery is higher than normal in women with a high TSH and even higher risk of preterm delivery if they test positive for anti-thyroid antibodies (hashimoto's thyroiditis). A high TSH implies underactive thyroid function.

Make sure: You are receiving brand name T4 replacement and have your lab checked every six weeks, while increasing the replacement until your levels are normal -- before you attempt to conceive. Then it should be checked regularly throughout your pregnancy as requirements can change during pregnancy.
