Different problem.: One does not feel abnormal upon stopping plavix (clopidogrel). However, were one to discontinue Plavix (clopidogrel) prematurely, the risk is of thrombosis and its consequences (for example, stent occlusion when Plavix (clopidogrel) is used for its antiplatelet effects following deployment of a drug-eluting stent).
