Contact health dept: There are resources you can find through www.Cdc.Gov/rabies. The local la county health department contagious disease office is listed as 888-397-3778 with a web listing at http://lapublichealth.Org/acd/cdrs.Htm. Many hospitals quit carrying the material due to shortages in the spring, but supplies are now up and the county health department can help you locate it if needed.
