No fast way: Inhaling warm steam for a few minutes twice a day may soothe your symptoms. For severe nasal congestion, using an otc nasal decongestant spray for no more than 5 days may help. For extreme runny nose, ask your doctor to prescribe a nasal spray for you which may reduce it significantly. But if you are really sick, you shouldn't really go to work because it may infect your co-workers.
