Depends...: If you are also having itchiness it is most likely allergies and you could take over the counter Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or Claritin( it should not make you drowsy like Benadryl (diphenhydramine) can). If not, cold symptoms may last about 7-10 days, but if feeling very sick or worse during the next few days you need to see your doctor. For now lots of fluids, rest, cough and congestion meds should suffice.
