OTC meds/yes: There are a variety of over the counter products that may help you rid someone of threadworms.They come with names like pinx. There are also prescription meds that will work.The worm is passed througn eggs that contaminate bedclothes, play areas, etc and end up on fingers. They travel though the mouth to your digestive tract where they infect you.
