Avoid Re-infestation: If you are referring to Pinworms, re-infestation is a major reason for persistent infestation; additionally the prescription medication must be repeated in 2 wks. Suggest the following: wash hands/scrub nails with brush after using toilet/before eating, launder bedding/clothes in hot water/hot dryer frequently, wear underwear to bed/launder daily, treat other household members simultaneously.
