Neuromuscular: Neuromuscular therapy can be extremely helpful for muscle trigger points caused by stress. Heat/ice for 15 minutes can be a good temporary quick fix. Regular cardiovascular activity can prevent recurrences. Trigger point injections performed by a physiatrist can help with the persistent knots.
