I suspect that you: Would be alright. Although a cat's bite and scratch can be dangerous, they don't usually have the force or size to do a lot of damage from ramming. I used to be a veterinary assistant - i was always very careful in handling angry or scared cats. I watched for teeth ; claws (5 points of attack) but never worried about impact from their knees. See your doctor if pain is not resolving. Take care.
