Sleep: Sleeping on your arm causes pressure on your arm and affects blood to the arm and from the arm. It causes weakness and possibly spasms. Its unlikely you will cut of complete blood flow by pressure from your head to the arm but if you sleep on a chair with your arm hanging down from the chair you can cause nerve damage.
